In a scene that had been plagued by makeup and darkness, the Descendents put some fun back in punk with a dose of bathroom humor, songs of love and life, catchy hooks, a caffeinated rhythm section, and, of course, the mighty Milo on vocals. Originally released in 2004, "Cool To Be You" showed that you could grow up, get a real job, and still play faster and louder than kids half your age. It solidified their legacy as the band that put the pop in punk without losing the punk edge.
